This weaving fragment, (above), shows one example from a collection of numerous figurative images of animals and people on a woven belt created in Totonicapan, Guatemala. It is typical of the types of "bird" images used in this section of the mural, inspired by the bird designs on different belts coming from the same Guatemalan region.
