Both of these sections of weaving come from separate belts woven in the town of Totonicopan, in Guatemala. Both are of designs representing hands. (above, both belts collection of the artist) "Hands" were selected to adorn the loading dock, because of the things which arrive and depart from the Cultural Intrigue Building on a daily basis, moving from hand to hand as they do. They are hands which both give and receive.
